When to Book

Please note that it’s best to confirm your session early.

It is never too early to book your newborn session. Contact us while you are pregnant and we will book a tentative date based on your due date. Then, as soon as you are home with bub, contact us and we will confirm a suitable time and date.

We try to photograph all of newborns before they are 2 weeks old (ideally between day 6-12) while they are pretty sleepy. They change so much in those first few weeks so the earlier the better. However, we can do newborn sessions up to the age of 4 weeks.

If you have left booking a newborn session to the last minute, touch base with me just in case there has been a last-minute shuffle. You can get lucky…babies do have a habit of arriving early or late so tentative sessions dates do change.

Location

Newborn sessions are held in our studio in the suburb of Eight Mile Plains. Or in house with extra travel fee.

Timing

Sessions are never rushed and I take as much time as we need. We stop for feeding and settling as required so it’s best not to make other plans for the day. It usually takes between 2-3 hours.

MILESTONE BABY SESSIONS

Did you miss out on newborn photos, or do you want to update your baby’s photos throughout their first year?

Milestone photo shoots are designed for babies aged 3-12 months, and are planned according to their developmental milestones.

When to Book

PLEASE NOTE THAT I TEND TO BOOK OUT WELL IN ADVANCE, SO IT’S BEST TO CONFIRM YOUR SESSION EARLY.

Contact us after your due date. Then, as soon as you are home with bub, contact us and we will confirm a suitable time and date.

Great times for photos are when they are confident doing tummy time (around 100 days), when they are independantly sitting (around 7-9 months of age), and their first birthday.

Location

Sessions are held in my studio in the suburb of south Brisbane. For 1 year old bub, better to do it outside in the park.

Timing

Sessions are never rushed and I take as much time as we need. We stop for feeding and settling as required. It usually takes between 1-2hours.
